You probably need to replace your cam seals, crank seal, and valve cover/spark plug well seals. The timing belt cover doesn't seal in the oil.

Where in FL are you?

thats the rear cam seal, it leaks down on the converters and the oil burns up. But odds are if thats bad all the other seals need to be replaced. But if you just want to do that one, call ford and order one. Its not to bad to change in the car, iv done it once, took me about 2 hours:cool:

More than likely we will still tell you the same thing. Its either the cam seals or crank seal. Might as well replace both of them while you are in there. It will cost you less than $30 for all 4 seals.

The oil does no look like it's going into the top of the timing belt cover. But Iam missing the two bottom bolts from the cover behind the blancer. Someone tell me ??? is it the rear crank shaft seal's???. :bonk:

Hey, I'm in Orlando until friday, if you want to drive it down here, I'd be more than happy to try to diagnose it for you. Make sure you bring a jack, stands, and hand tools. Extensions, sockets, drivers, wrenches are mandatory for getting at that area. A breaker bar wouldn't hurt either. Of course, that's if you want me to dig around for it. I can try to figure it out just by looking at it, but that's a lot harder.

I'm at the residence inn on University, off of Alafaya trail. PM me if you want me to look at it. I own a 94 and a 95, both ATXs, and I've done all the maintenance on them meself!

Without having seen it, I can tell you it's either a valve cover seal or a crank seal that's causing it. do you have blowby on the valve covers (are they covered in oil?) If they are, it's probably a valve cover seal, and I can show you how to change them. I get off of work at 6 every day... so it'll be a night time deal... but just lemme know.
