I see at least one person is making a attemp at installing a manuel trans. Why not the gen 1 & 2 mtx? I already know the mtx has its weaknesses, but the V8 does'nt put out that much more power & is'nt that much heavier.

Mexican transmissions don't bolt up well.

The Gen 3 V8 is a totally different animal than the 89-95 V6.

It won't work. different blocks, different well ... everything
