I feel it is about time to retrofit my transmission. It is starting to slip a little and i give it about 3000-5000 more miles at max and other than getting a cooler for it what else should i get done to it for an upgrade. There was talk about something one time but i dont remember what it was. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. squint

I would recommend getting a Trans-Go shift kit also. It shortens up time in between shifts, making the transmission work less and run cooler. That mated with a tranny cooler should yield a nice long life out of a rebuilt transmission.
Coolers and shift kits can be found at www.bulkpart.com
They also have a few write-ups and charts and what not explaining to you how the shift kit works and why it is good for the tranny.
Good luck. thumb

You can get beefed up trannies that have an extra clutch and steel in the first three gears. Also be sure to get a HD TC. Expect to pay around $3500 total with install.
