I couldnt find any reliable answer on any forum for how much transmission fluid comes out from the drain plug. So ill post it here in hopes that it will show up when others search.

2015 sho non pp transmission. 11mm wrench for the plug. The other one that looks similar is smaller in head size, the 11mm fronter one is the drain plug.

After draining it completely with the engine off, nearly 5.5 quarts came out. Accounting for the bit i spilled. I cleaned out my jug and filled it back up with new fluid to dump back in.
Its only the tip of the iceberg for how much fluid is actually in the whole tra nny, torque converter and cooler but i do 3 drain and fills.
I plan on doing it every 30k miles or one year. After a long week of roadtrips out west, i just hit 90k miles on the car, tra nny and ptu. Engine is at 18k miles.

Refilled with Amsoil Mercon LV. Factory you have to remove the air box to get to the fill cap, i had to remove my not factory air filter ducts/shields. And the black cap is where it gets filt, bottom center of last picture ;)

Man does it s uck to write a thread on the new update...

I asked this question in my thread about changing the ****** fluid. Do you only drain, refill once, then drive it till the next time or drain again after a week or so to have a good fluid exchange? No one answered lol.

I change it again after 10 miles of driving. Shifting through gears and reverse and all mixes it up pretty quick. Or do it every weekend for a few weeks. Really cant lose, just make sure you drive it through its gears and ranges on the tork derverter
