i have been thinking and searching alot. but stil have a couple questions. i want to hook up a trans temp guage because i want to take as much percautions as possible with my new diff and tranny. what size sending unit do i need because i heard there is a spot on the top of my tranny that i can thread the sending unit in without modification like drilling. its a 95 mtx. any links to a kit they have used? i would prefer the gauge be blue led.

Unless you have a Quaife/Wavetrac and do lots of road course racing, you shouldn't need to worry about overheating the MTX fluid.

ATX's generate way more heat than do MTX's.

well with the diff welding and machining i thought it would be a good idea to see what the temp would be during track use and spirited driving

The MTX is splash lubed, which would make any temp readings you were able to get off a gauge unreliable and inaccurate at best.
