where is this? do you recall? i already tapped my fog light switch for my white faced gauges, and i don't think tapping it 3 more times would be a good idea...

Tap it once for a relay, and then you can power as many gauges as you want off the relay instead. You should really use a relay for anything additional you add onto a factory circut. A relay does not require a lot of power to stay "on" and the power it supplies is coming off a second 12v source anyway, preferably directly off the battery.
