I have a 93 ATX and the tranny has been rebuilt on 6/19/98 at 113,000 miles and I currently have 185,000miles now Im curious if my tranny is on its way out the door or if I have a bad motor mount and I dont have on record if any motor mounts where replaced I've check the tranny fluid and its clean no shavings or anything. My tranny will slip a little in first between 1-2grand and sometimes it doesnt, but if I get on the gas hard it shifts fine doesnt slip or anything. It also feels like the tranny moves a little bit then shifts. If anybody knows what it could be it would be appreciated Thanks.... thumbs_u burn_out

The SHOtimes FAQ has procedure to test motor mounts. At least you can check them and verify if they are good or not before moving on to possible tranny problems.

When is the last time you changed the filter and fluid? It should be changed at least every 30k miles. Keeping clean fluid in a ATX will keep the tranny operating well unless you are extra ******* it.
