Tommorow I'm changing the filter & fluid on the SHO and I was wondering what's the correct torque for the bolts when reinstalling the pan? The gasket for the pan is reuseable also, correct?

On a side note, how much fluid will actually get drained from just the pan?

Thank you! Everything went smoothly. thumbs_u

I couldn't believe how dirty it looked after 33k though...almost like new oil. Quite a bit of metal on the magnet and pan also. Now I see why flushing is so important!

Sparhawk:
Did you flush or did you just simply drop the pan and drained the fluid?
I dropped the pan and changed the fluid and filter. I didn't flush it. I wanted to drain the rest, but didn't have time. Before the end of the school year I am going to drop the pan agian and just change the fluid so in theory by then it will have mixed with the old stuff and I will have new fluid (mostly) all around in the tranny! But for today I figured doing some is better than nothing at all...
