@GEN 3 SHO FAN I took your advice on the cam seal and removed it with my orifice pick! Did not have to take the valve cover off to get it out or back in.
That being said does anyone know the torque specs for the 2 retainer cap bolts for it?
I've replaced the valve cover gaskets, spark plug wells, and that oil filter adapter gasket. This has to be the final leak that still has me smoking.
Power Steering was an issue until JBweld and I found a long term solution. That is until I get the resources to make the conversion to a custom steel braided line and fitments.
9 months running and 0 leaks from the power steering lines by pulley.
Will eventually post pics of the new suspension once I get the "clunk" issue fixed. Got all aluminum subframe bushings to go along with this, but that still hasn't silenced it.
Another forum to come, for now. Torque specs of the 2 bolts before my long wind gets every one side tracking. See pics and the mass amount of oil below the cam shaft seal sitting.
You guys and shosource.com have been catalysts in keeping her running, and I hope to keep her going. 97k and no cams welded. That is my next big project once the suspension or subframe clunk is eliminated. Going to check the alignment of it since bushing installation...
