Tranny Swap

Question?...in order to do a tranny sway is it necessary to pull the engine or can i just put it on a lift and drop the tranny...

you can take it out the bottom by removing the sub frame. You will have to hold the engine up somehow though since your dropping the sub frame. I believe you can also take it out through the wheel well but im not sure how to do that.

You can drop the ATX tranny by itself after removing the subframe. You will need to suspend the engine from something like a hoist or brace.
