hey guys Ive been wondering about a few things I was reading somewhere that the bolt pattern on the mtx IV the sho tranny ie 3.0 tranny is the same bolt pattern as an a4ld. if this is true then it is also true that the 2.3 turbo cars or 2.3 in general T5 bell bolts up to the same pattern. I have a 2.3 bell around here and was going to go to the junkyard and try to match it up to a sho motor or 3.0 or even a 3.0 tranny just to get an idea. I have seen a merkur Xr4ti on ebay with an sho twin turbo setup and I was thinking maybe they used the 2.3 T5 hopefully it wasnt that pos t9 but even so would bolt up. If anyone knows anything and could get me some info i would appreciate it as im thinking of a project. I used to be a 2.3 turbo guy and this is my first sho I think i may have paid to much for it since the body condition and minor work it needs in the interior but over all the car is good and pretty quick. has some chip in it JET chip i was going to throw it up for sale see if anyone was interested in it. let me know about the tranny stuff i think it would be better for a swap rather than paint the car. thankyou in advance
