94 ATX. She's leaking tranny fluid out of the bellhousing, torque converter area. Hopefully this vehicle will be getting a tranny swap summer of 2010, so it's not a huge concern. Anyone tried the stopleak additive? Is there any way to replace this seal without pulling the transmission? Again, worst case scenario she'll be parked for a couple years and it will be fixed when the surgery is performed.

If it's coming from the bellhousing area, it's the torque converter seal, or input shaft seal.
Unfortunately, you must remove the tranny to install a new seal.
