tranny help

it feels like my transmission is going. it has a hard time shifting correctly once everything is warmed up. anybody else have this problem?

Check your fluid level and then get a filter change and have them flush all the fluid. Did that to mine and it made a big improvement. Also, I added a cooler to prolong the tranny. Faily simple to do.

it's the weakest link.
if you haven't rebuilt (or replaced) your tranny yet, you're probably due.
although you will spend $2K+...if your SHO is worth it (only you know the answer to that), it makes it a much better vehicle and with the correct tranny mods, will last the life of the vehicle.

You can try some fresh fluid. But do not expect a miracle. Most likely there are some seals that are brittle inside the unit. Once the fluid gets warm and thin, it is leaking pressure off somewhere.

probably the pump shaft seals got blown out or the TC is shot and not dis-engaging.

Either way get it rebuilt. anything less than 1300 installed be wary
