Tranny Fluid

I replaced my tranny pan gasket and filter on my 93' ATX 3.2L DOHC, but can't find the exact amount of fluid I need to refill. One website said start with 4 quarts and fill as needed, I would like to know the exact amount. Any help would be appreciated!

I believe it's 13 quarts but you should do a search, it's been talked about before here.

12.8 Q or 12.2L....

I just replaced the trans filter yesterday. I used 6.5 quarts of fluid to refill it. That may not be the exact amount for you but it should be close. The total capacity for the trans is 12.25 quarts.
