Over filling by a pint is very typical on these cars. The police packages with the 6F55 do it as well according to my mechanic who used to support local LEO.

I had a 2010 that was very sensitive to shift pressures and it would sound/feel like wheel hop but it was actually the car trying to get into gear. Best way to find out is a data log...

Wheel hop vs Trans issues look very different in a data log...

If you have the mycal touch then you might be able to see it.. not sure the pids to monitor though...

What I can say is this...

I had the issue on the 1st to 2nd shift a lot and occasionally from the 2nd to 3rd shift. This was on my 2010. My 2016 never has had a shifting problem.

These cars shouldn’t ever have wheel hop on a 2nd - 3rd shift unless it’s wet outside. So if you are, then I suspect there is another issue. Tire pressures at 35psi cold? Tires have proper tread? It’s not 32F or colder with summer tires? Then the 2nd - 3rd should be solid.

Check for DTC’s with the LMS device. Are there any pending?

If you punch it from a stop, do you smoke the tires?

Also through all these test, make sure you have advancetrac/traction control turned off as best as possible.

Let me pull up the tune and see what I can find out. No smoking the tires but a nice little mark left.

Well, if your traction control isn’t off an your trans isn’t overfilled and it’s too cold out, you must need a new HPFP.

Sorry, I know that’s no help.

For real though, for whatever reason LMS just can’t figure out 2013+ SHO’s.

For the most part these forums are pretty helpful. Once the virus situation dies down, dragway 42 is the place to be. Not super familiar with summit county, but that should be up in your neck of the woods.
If you go to Norwalk, you won't need a helmet. At Dragway 42, you do.

The Livernois nightmare was heavily discussed here a few years back. Check my posts for the subject. I went to Gearhhead and all of my 'issues' disappeared. ALL OF THEM. Get away from Livernois and get Gearhead or AJPturbo, or problems will NEVER go away. Check my signature for my mods. Been running it this way for a couple of years. Just ran it back from Bonita Springs in Florida, 22 hours straight driving, and it ran perfect, walking away from two rice burners and a Porshe on the way.

If you go to norwalk you will need a pillow. The one time I went last year I waited 6 hours between runs. Don't care how good a track is, I won't go back for 2 runs in a full day.

@Brandon78.....

Steer clear of Liver$h!t.

They've really tanked in performance and customer service over the years.

They're all about advertising and hype. Which the end user doesn't realize until it's to late.

Plus, the customer pays for all that misleading advertising via exorbitant pricing.

Most of their products are rebranded items which they pay the original developer for, by agreeing to purchase a large quantity up front, only for that developer to bless Liver$h!t to be "allowed" to stamp their logo on these items and call them "their own" or "exclusive". Which again, they try to use as a basis in justifying their outrageous pricing.

Watch their wording carefully. Things like "up to 'x' amount of hp, or up to 'x' amount of "tq" when most former customers have shown the end results are nowhere near the over inflated claims.

The owner's a smooth talker and is very good at smoke and mirrors. Often dismissive of known failures, and always quick to assess blame everywhere else other than acknowledging their own shortcomings. The fault, or faults never ever lie with them, and the claims of everything they do, or offer, are unequivocally always "the best" in their own minds.

I can't stress enough, avoid them at all costs. More failures have occurred recently and those owner's are out thousands and they couldn't care less.

If you love your SHO, look elsewhere. Any where else. Seriously.

He doesn't care what happens to your car. I went around with L for about two months adding tranny fluid and trying different tunes. I had been in the habit of 0-100 every morning on the way to work before v11. Overrevs, slipping trans clutches, and drivetrain sounds only a sledgehammer could make, caused me to openly accuse L directly of not knowing what they were doing. They offered to take my car to try to figure out why 'ONLY MY' car seemed to be having problems. HAH! I'd rather hand a monkey a loaded machine gun.

We live pretty close. When the virus scare subsides, I'll take you for a ride with a drag start, to say, 110. Gearhead will impress, guaranteed.

Thinking back at the beginning of this thread it didn't occur to me that you have the Liv tune and others were having tranny issues with that a good while ago. It's in the memory banks but recall wasn't so good. You're getting close to a resolution I think.
