TPS??

Can a Throttle position sensor go bad without setting a code? My car (94 ATX) doesn't down shift at part throttle, low speeds. Last time we checked, no codes.

I had that problem with my atx although, it wouldn't downshift at full throttle. I flushed my tranny and put in B&M trick shift synthetic fluid and it shifts better than before

Tps can go bad without throwing codes. It may or may not cure what ails your car but it's cheap and easy so why not? It helped my car's acceleration when I changed it.
