Touchup Paint for an '89?

I went to my friendly neighborhood Ford dealer today and they can't get me Currant Red from '89. The most recent paint they have starts in '91... what advice can you give me? They had Electric Currant Red... I've heard SHOs called Electric Red, and Currant red. Need advice!

Today I was talking to a parts guy at a Yamaha shop about matching the engine paint. He suggested this company for hard to find paint.

Ford may not supply it but there is a chance that some of the touch-up paint suppliers still do. Check the local auto parts stores for the correct paint code.
