It kinda works on carbureted applications and just about anything with a short direct intake path. But with the SHO intake's twists, turns, and splits the "tornado" effect is long gone by the time it reaches the valves. The intent is to keep the fuel well atomized but when your fuel is delivered only a small distance from the valves it's useless.

since it's well documented and scientifically proven that atmospheric cyclonic circulation differs between the northern and southern regions, heretofore reffered to as hemispheres, in so much as said circulations are of opposite direction if viewed from above, do they make a reverse rotation device for ricers south of the great equatorial demarkation line?

that reminds me of a discussion I once was a party to that elaborated on the possible causes of the dreaded sudden onset of madness in American tourists whilst visiting the land down under. The setting was Clearwater Florida, we were attending our employers training classes, and the primary orator of our group hailed from Australia. Ok, back to the madness thingee. It seems that we Americans are creatures of habit, and any sudden changes can really dumbfound our cranial workings. As stated, cyclonic rotation in the southern hemisphere is the opposite to us, (a side note here, he said it's us that are backwards) and whilst bathing we are used to grasping the rubber duckie as it swirles in a, in a, in,, IN A NORTHERN ROTATION. Well, coat that rubber duckie with some slippery suds and spin it the other way 'round the hole and its just plain hard to get a hold of it. The clumsy grasping and grappling for a slippery duckie thats going the wrong way 'round a hole gets quite frustrating and actually does drive some northern tourinst mad.
