Has anyone actually used & tried these on their car? I haven't heard anything bad necessarily but there do seem to be some positive reviews on a few different online website retail sites.

I'm not one of those that really gets into the gimmicky things which this does sound like, but I thought I would ask people out there if they have tried it. I understand the logic behind what is claimed & by arguing against it, so at this point that's not important. The only real thing would be if owners in the real world have actually used it on their SHO's and have noticed any results. And if so... what were they? (Good or bad)

Thanks for you your constructive comments

I've been using this for my Honda Odyssey for 4 years. The ride is remarkably smoother with this unit installed. The accelaration and ride are without a doubt amazingly better. I have not done any calculations on if I am saving fuel, but I don't plan on removing the unit from my vehicle.

*cough*placebo effect*cough*

Haha, it's crazy enough to claim it improves airflow in any way, but saying it improves ride quality too is a whole new level of stupid.

$70 for 28g of stamped 18 guage steel. It's gotta do SOMEthin!

Oh, I bet that whole thing weighs less than 70 one dollar bills and I'm positive it weighs less than 280 US Quarters...it's a weight savings mod too.

since it's well documented and scientifically proven that atmospheric cyclonic circulation differs between the northern and southern regions, heretofore reffered to as hemispheres, in so much as said circulations are of opposite direction if viewed from above, do they make a reverse rotation device for ricers south of the great equatorial demarkation line?

I've heard of them getting sucked in the engine...(how true I don't know). But to sum it up in one word......JUNK!

When I worked at a Nissan dealer, more than a few Maximas came in with it lodged in the throttle body. A couple got broken up and sucked into the intake also.

I"m kinda glad that somebody brought that up. I wasn't sure if this thing is worth of looking at at all. Thanks for these posted links with explanation why and how.

How come I can never find those other threads when I search for the word "Tornado?" Nothing shows up in my searches.

I figured as much on everyone's opinion behind them but I was hoping to find someone who actually tried them with some sort of feedback.

Thanks

I found them by searching "tornado"...

I'm pretty sure I read about Fred Hurder trying one out (and no getting any results), too.

When I installed mine, the car became a v12, rwd, overspun the dyno, and hit 200mph in 9.1 seconds. They really do work better than advertised. I had to take it out, because I couldn't afford 110 octane anymore :(.

On anything better than 95 octane, car becomes a beast. Any car.
