No doubt, I suck as a driver. Which is why I have to rely on the turbo to beat those pesky SC SHO's !

I believe its singular.....a supercharge SHO.

I may be small potatoes but you'll need your A-game for Tony.

He just beat mega-mega hp Cobra by a car length. WOW!

A-game is a comin', that is for sure. I know better than to take Tony lightly. So, will we be seeing 2 or 3 SHO's in the 11's @ memphis?!

BTW, I want to read about the Cobra race. Where is it posted?

Not that any of your cars can't catch 11s on a good weather day....

But, as with all Conventions, the weather will be hot & humid, which is never a good condition for good ETs!!

We were a good 1/2-second off in Indy last year with the 100 degrees and humidity to match (speaking of myself with a turbo and Tony with his Lightning)

Practice consistency for the brackets!!

Problem with this pass was I dialed in 13.9 and realized I just did my best run at the 1000' markers and jammed the brakes nocking a bunch off of my speed but not enough to get the ET back over my 13.9 dial-in.

So, what is the best you have ran?
12.33 but I can't find any documentation. This is the next best one. Tranny was still messed up though and was still having trouble trying to get it into third.

******** flag is thrown.....

Sorry, the photochop of the 13.9x down to a 13.02 was bad enough, but this stretches credibility beyond belief.

After Tony's Lghtning and I both kicked your butt at Indy (running 14.2-14.3), I didn't even believe the 13.9x, but Larry Eck was in the tower and confirmed it.

NO F-IN WAY can that car turn better than high 13s!! Mark's sub-3,000# '89 with a 3.2, juice, a Quaife, and nttos ran a 12.9x. I don't believe that Josh has hit anything better with his 450+ WHP Quaife car. Ransom Holbrook, with 450+ WHP in his 89 with a Quaife run mid 13s with a high trap speed.

A full-weight Gen 3 with no LSD and street tires would do well to hit high 13s even with double your WHP.

Sorry, any Gen 3 running better than mid 13s would have caught everyone's attention.

Photochop skills don't make a car fast. And anyone I know has the timeslips from their best runs.

And to quote another Arkansas resident: "I did not have sex with that woman"

Come to Memphis. There will be a least on Subaru station wagon, a Lightning truck, possiblity an STI,and a few other turbo and supercharged SHOs that will hand you your ass on a platter.

And none will probably hit the 12s in the heat & humidity.

Your ******** has hit a new level of unbelievability.

Certainly wouldn't be a problem to accomplish what you state right now. I am running on 7 cylinders and seriously doubt the engine will hold up much longer, though it is shifting into third now very well.

So, does a SHO powered offroad car qualify for this thread? If so, The Other Woman did a 12.488 at 110.238 mph. She did this running a Roots style Eaton blower with a max of 8 pounds of boost, on race gas. The nitrous was turned off during this run; when I did turn it on, she wheelied so high I had to back out of the throttle untill the front end came back down; still did a 12.876 at 107.876.

If you don't want to include her in this listing because she only weighs 2100 pounds, that's okay by me, no big deal.

I gotta agree with Ron here. I would have remember seeing a 12 second pass. I even went through all of the shots taken by the professional photographers and I didn't see any 12 second passes from anybody. I don't even recall seeing a 13 second pass out of your Gen 3.

Also, if you had run a 12 second pass at Indy there would have been a lot of talk amongst the other attendees.

Sorry, been away for a while. Tom, all SHO powered vehicles are eligible.

As far as ArkanSHO's posted pics, I am a little hesitant to add them. I take it those pictures were at the convention last year? With the controversy I would prefer some additional evidence.

In that case I will scan my time sheet in and post it. You ought to make a different category though, for transplants. Here it is.

In his defense, you let out a critical fact. All the cars u have mentioned are MTX cars. ATX in an aplication such as a Taurus are much better for drag racing. Have you seen GTP times? I have seen GTPs put down 12.9s @ 105 etc. I have trapped as high as 103 but with a 14.0 sec run. No where 12s. 1/4 times are decided in the first 60'. I could see a SHO going 12s with a < 2.0 60'. BUt that's next to impossible in a MTX, not so wi th an auto.

what the ****? lol

Well too bad that time is now my second best.

I ran the 1/4 last thursday (4/13). Since my 15.2, i've replaced the tires, did a 60k and had a empty trunk also bout 1/4 a tank of 87. :)

I'm gonna go back though, the tree was broken (would go as soon as you where staged). So i got cought off gaurd and din't get a good launch (went from on the brakes to WOT, lol)

I ran some guy in a vert' top I-Roc 'Maro. Had a nice exhuast on it and a primered cowl hood. :nut:

I'm confident if i get her to launch right i can knock off a 15.0 in a non-modded ATX.
