This thread is a little old but I have to add a GIII.

No problem. I am not around much these days, but I still subscribe to this thread and the dyno archive to keep them up to date. They are both meant to be ongoing sources of information/bragging rights. I will add your time right away.

I will have to dig tonight but I have a few of my timeslips around here somewhere. 14.6@93 with a 2.09 60 foot was my best pass about 3-4 years ago now. Wife made me stop drag racing it after the 2nd "I broke an axle" phone call from the track. These cars do not take well to powershifting :)

No two road courses are the same in terms of layout. A "top ten road course" list would be pretty meaningless unless all the runs were at the same road course. Being as many SHO and Taurus folks make a regular pilgrimage to Gingerman, that would be the best possible choice I can think of.

For the record, I realize no two dragstrips are exactly the same. Different elevations, different weather on different days, and many other variables that affect the times ran. On the other hand, the quater mile is generally the universal yard stick for vehicular performance so I go with it.

As far as who is known to be fast around road courses, Mark Nunnally, Kirk Doucette, Nick Chrimes, Don Donelson, Karen Stimpson, Fred Hurder Jr, Josh Texiera, Ron Porter, Pat McGrath, and many others lay down blistering lap times repeatedly.

Ever dig up those time slips? I will add you to the list when you get them up!

Nah, I'm a hack!! I would vote for Nunnally being the quickest, and a couple of the CA guys are right up there with him.

Nope no luck. I probably tossed them one of the 3 times I moved in the last 3 weeks..... will try and make a few passes this spring. Terri and Eric (SHOTIME) know me and know I do not BS about drag racing :)

On the honor system, I will add you to the list. If possible try to provide future time slips, as long as it does not cause marital problems!

hehe, I am number 4 on the NA list, a time which happens to be a good deal quicker than your Vorteched run

And my car is number 3 on the FI list.

thats because I've only made one pass with the SC car before I blew an axle.

Your CAR is number 3 but I don't see Toolman listed.

Hmmm maybe Jeremy knew how to drag race it.

Hehe, that was when it had a lot less power, and on 16's. I think he dyno'd around 320whp when he ran that 13.1. When it had more HP he actually ran slower. Trying to run it when I had 383whp on 35 series 19's made for some awful short times. Still ran a 13.4 @ 114. So if Hack wants to put that on the list he can.

No doubt, I suck as a driver. Which is why I have to rely on the turbo to beat those pesky SC SHO's !
