Anyone know if/when the rear tokicos will be back in circulation? I'm itching for new struts.

I was told that Tokico had a bad batch of rears going around....anyone know if this problem has been resolved?

The issue has not yet been resolved. Expected ship dates on the rears is now 2-3 weeks away (after 1/1/2002).

The confusion on Tokicos is that for almost a year, the fronts were on national backorder, due to the unavailable strut housings from Monroe. Then, once the fronts became available, Tokico supposedly had a huge QC issue with the rears (mfg'd after July?), and issued a huge recall from their resellers on the rears only. Because of the timing, people associate the rear supply issues with the old front shortages.
