I just had a blow out, come to find out my spare is flat too
Anyways, I was calling around and no one has 225/55/16.
Big O Said they do have 225/60/16.

Will those work for my 91 MTX?

Your speedo will be off.

The stock size on slicers is 215/60R16. The 225/55R16 size is close enough in diameter to not have a huge difference on the speedometer.

Also, you should have consistently sized tires at all 4 corners; that is to say that all tires should be the same size at each wheel. If you're only replacing 1 tire, and the other 3 tires are 225/55R16, then the replacement tire will need to be that size also.

I'm pretty sure 225/60/16 will rub the strut towers. On a G1 like yours it will almost definitely rub the rear fender wells.
