Tire pressure

I just installed my 18s today and they feel a little sloppy. They are 40 series tires and i put 40psi in them. Im wondering what others are running in there lower profile tires. The tire says max 51 psi but i dont want to go that far.

Think 45 would be good?

I have 225/50/17 and run 35, oh and bigger wheels/tires bring out all the bad stuff... figures that out on my car.

heh...funny you say that cause my car rides alot better now. My stock tires had broken wires in them and had lump all over em.

Probably feel sloppy because of the increase in upsprung weight. The suspension cant react as quickly. This is assuming that these wheels/tires weight more than stock.
