Are you talking about the intake? If so, it is pretty straight forward. The are vacumn lines going to the butterflies, FPR and throttle body area. There is an electrical plug on the IAC. There are coolant lines and one for the PVC system on the bottom of the throttle body. There is a ground strap on the back passanger bracket.

When reinstalling you need to loosen the couplers on the intake so it can flex some. Once you get it all bolted down then you tighten them back up.

If all you are doing is removing the intake then there is no need to loosen the couplers. Just remove the intake and when ready place it back on. If you plan to take the intake apart(adding BBBs, or possibly just to clean it) then you need to leave the couplers loose when reinstalling so it can flex and line the bolt mounting holes up as Jayro stated above.

Take plenty of pictures before you start, and label every last hose and wire you remove or disturb, and take your time.

First time is a PITA, but after that you'll be able to start racing the clock to do it....

My advice to make your life easier, if you keep the throttle body heater, is to buy a set of needle nose pliers that have a 45* curve to them at the end.....makes those clamps a breeze.

You sir are right!
I went that route about two weeks ago, first time ever removing the intake was a major PITA, but nothing that practice doesn't cure.

Strangely nobody has mentioned that, after taking the upper intake, make sure you clean up the lower intake for any loose dirt and cover up the intake ports with some rags so nothing falls inside the engine.
