I am going to attempt to remove the rear cylinder head while the engine is in the car and i need to know if there is any tips to make things easier. I have pulled heads of of this engine with it not in the car and it was fairly easy. Do you think that i could even do it where it is now? If not, does anyone know of someone in the Kansas City area that would like to help out for a day? I posted an ad in the WTB section looking for a head so if anyone has one they would like to sell, pm me.

Thanks everyone!

You might be able to disconnect the rear engine mount, tranny mount, roll dampeners etc, all except for the front engine mount. Then you should be able to rock the engine away from the firewall enough to get the head bolts out. It will pivot on the front mount.
