Doing CPS (also everything else up front)

1. How do you lock the crankshaft to torque the crank bolt?

2. My cams are not aligned with eachother, they were, I didn't see how or when they got off. The right gear mark is @ 12 oclock, left mark is @ 2 oclock. Can I just rotate the left to 12 oclock or do I have to rip the whole thing apart and set the chain on the other side? If I can just rotate it, any recommendations on how (clockwise, counter clockwise)?

Any help would be appreciated and I appologize if this has already been answered, I searched for about an hour and just decided to post. I did find a picture of what my cams look like but the post did not seem to explain how to fix the problem. I am sorry if I am being dense.

Here is the link to the post, my cams are almost exactly as far off as these:

just pull the timing belt off again and re align both cam sprockets with the marks on the rear timing cover and align the crank sprocket with the mark on the oil pump. as for torquing the bolt have an assistant get in the car, put it in gear and have them hold the brakes while you torque it. this will stop the engine from rotating since its an MTX. this would not work if it were an ATX. make sure you tighten it to spec, if its too loose it will rattle back and forth and destroy the keyway on the lower sprocket.
