timing belts toast

After 2 weeks of messing around and fixing all the codes and mounts..timing belts fried..it catches then slips just as the motor trys to fire(took a peek.cogs missing on belt)..since its going to a shop..outside of my tools and facilities(outside ..its cold)..so how long does a shop charge(hours)..what else should I get done while its apart? Have to start looking for a place nearby..in either Edmonton or Spruce Grove.

Something allowed that belt to get damaged. Most likely a lack of proper belt tension. Go to this topic for associated parts and services that can be performed during the timing belt service for minimal extra labor.

Thanks for the direction Scott.I knew it was out there had read it just could not seem to re-find it..on to the phone now to find a shop that will do it.
