You spun the rear cam so the dot lines up 12 o'clock too? Its in the middle of opening a valve so it can be tricky your first couple times doing it. Just want to make sure case that could throw you off. Also, if your belt has the w lines for the crank you should be using the lower one, away from the front cam gear.

Also, when you fire the motor, you've installed the balancer and tightened the crank bolt all the way, correct? I only ask because I once tried to start a motor without doing this, and the cam gear wasn't back far enough so the crank sensor wasn't getting a strong enough reading to fire the coil.
