My timing belt does not have any of the white lines and markings like are shown on the shopheonixproject front 60K guide. How do I put my belt on? I don't need to replace it because it is still in good condition but I don't want to mess the timeing up. Please help.

If you left it on the car don't worry about the lines. But when taken off the car you should mark it with a paint pen for reference.

It came off. only because I accidentally turned a cam gear and the crank pulley and had to fix the timing. what will it hurt just putting it back on?

Well... if you get a little lucky... and.. can get the top gears set where they should, and line up the crank where it should be.... all that being said your belt will be tight across the top of the 2 and tight along the right hand side, you should be ok, but if its off a tooth, you know whats involved with replacing it.

I have installed belts with no markings. Just an FYI next time, mark the cam gears against the backing plate. Along with only pulling the crank pulley off at tdc.

;)T belt isn't that expensive, compared to tearing into it again if it's wrong.

it is tight across the top, same as when it came off, there is no room to move over a tick. new question though. If I have 5 quarts of oil, and I use part of it to fill up the new filter, I only put the rest in the pan right? It's not 5+ filter?
