Hello all,I decided to do the timing belt, waterpump, crank seal, and p/s ,alt/ac belts. I had done the crank sensor about 2 months ago and it seemed ok, i made the mistake of not lining up the timing marks before i removed the timing belt "oops" but according to the extensive photos and literature here and my trusty mitchell ondemand 5 it seemed easy enough, i purchased a Gates timing belt it had all the white timing marks but no 3.0 or 3.2 notation so i went by the photos i found here, and everything went great , but i noticed on the rear cam that when i lined up the timing mark on the gear to the back plate i was putting pressure on the valves like its part into the opening of the valves and the front cam was normal in between strokes if you will, so i installed as per desciption lining up the marks and rotating the engine twice and then tightening the belt tensioner, so now the sho seems to be a little low on power and the edelbrocks "mufflers" seem to be quieter than usual, i checked for vacum leaks and the secondary operation , all seems well, i previously had done wires"autolite pro's" plugs "autolite platinum", DIS module, coil pack, valve cover and seals, intake set, gas and air filters and i run medium to high grade gas, the wires and plugs probly have about 3,000 miles on them they are in question , i know what i should be using, when unplugging the MAF things seem to be a little better, i'll have to check for codes also, sorry so long also there is no oil in the plug wells and the plugs are all normal colored, i do get a little bucking occasionally, maybe the MAF is dying, it just seems odd to happen after doing the belts in such... any thoughts would be great....Vince

It is very possible to be off a tooth. How many times did you rotate it by hand and check??

You should also check and double check all of your vacuum lines, make sure you hooked up the black canister thingy right. Verify your secondaries are opening at 4k.

Wouldn't hurt to pull the codes either ;) :D
