time for some cleaning

i noticed today that when i touch the black trim around my doors (92 mtx) i get black stuff on my hands, guessing it's just dirty dirty, any suggestions on the best product to use, and and special cloth or will any old rag do? also want to ask the same questions about brake dust build-up on my rims, what's the best stuff for that as well. thanks for all the info.........trying to keep it a mean...CLEAN...machine

I assume that you mean the trim inside the doors? I get that too when I clean the windows. I got some of that Meguiars "back to black" stuff that I'm going to try. I'm also going topaint the black trim on my car, since I repainted the mirrors, and the whole thing looks a bit off now. I'll update as to if this works or not...
