Ok, well I got my front upgrade done .. well almost.. the stupid castle nut.. when I try to tighten it, the bolt actually spins, and I can't seem to get it tight. Is this normal? Should I try to get something under the boot to hold it while I tighten it? Never seen one spin that like before.

use a jack or a clamp to force the tierod into the spindle and then tighten the nut. works like a charm

yeah, you'll sometimes get a spinning joint when you try to tighten down the outer. For a future note, especially when removing a worn out part, a pair of vise grips clamping a edge of the outer and the edge of the spindle where the outer inserts into the spindle will aid in preventing the joint from spinning.

Make sure you use the special sequence when bleeding the brakes! If you have ABS, it's not the typical furthest line from the master and work your way to the closest process. Order to bleed the brakes is to start with the passenger rear, drivers front, drivers rear and finally the passenger front.
