Tidewater SHO meet!

Count me in for a meet at JD's, it's just under 3 hours from where I'm living now, which really isn't any farther than where I was living in NC last year. I'd love to do the Transportation museum, I absolutely love trains and would love to check it out sometime, but it's almost 4 hours from me and I'd like to keep the drive as short as possible this time around - the SHO isn't in top shape. I'd also love to do OCS again, but I think I'd rather just have an all day social, check out cars deal. I need to redo the rear suspension on my SHO before tracking it, it's honestly getting scary; the car becomes a hovercraft on real bad bumps and potholes.

As fun as OCS was, I love just talking and drooling over SHO's as much as anything else.

I had blocked Oct 25th Sunday for a possible meet date at my place -- late enough in the hurricane season so we don't get washed out.

Sun Oct 25th is still good date for me. We can do the meet at my place if this is a good location for everyone. This great weather is giving me "meet fever".

Alternatively, if someone else wants to host -- like Sam -- I am fine with that. My place is fine (easy for me), but I don't want to be a hog about it.

I can send out some emails to other local folks, namely Paul/Ashley (Eliz City) and ****/Jeff (Tidewater) -- regardless of where we meet. Anyone else who is not a regular forum ****** we should notify, so lets get the word out.

The 25th works for me I just came to my attention (Thanks to my Amy) we'll be in Charlotte for that show the first week of October, not the second like I had originally thought; this will work well.
I'm looking forward to this meet again, yall are good people and have some nice SHOs. I've been thinking about what I want to do to mine before the meet. I guess I might repaint the pillars and side mirrors, I've got some flaking there.

At this point, I don't think my house is going to work. We are going to be crazy busy right up to the meet (More so Ashley with school). If John does not mind hosting, Chapel hill it is. October 25th.
