Here's a supplement (sp?) to my original post about a bottom-end ticking ( http://www.shoforum.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=17;t=006160 ).
I went outside and played with the ideas everyone had suggested, and here's what I learned:
1. All injectors seem fine from screwdriver test.
2. Noise is from bottom end, esp. tranny side.
3. It cannot be sourced to any one location under the motor using my listening tools, however, it seems most audible from either side of the motor, not from the oil pan.
4. The ticking sometimes occurs, and sometimes not. Sometimes is has a ticking pattern like that of the injectors, sometimes it is like that but skips ticks. Sometimes it is loud, sometimes it is quiet. It occassionally goes away and comes back again.
5. Raising the RPMs seems to make it go away very easily.
6. Running performance does not seem affected negatively.
Here is a video, along with a sound clip, which is clearer. You might wish to check both out, if you have the time.

***Listen carefully for the fairly high-pitched, and quite pronounced ticking. It is not the clatter which is easy to hear at times. It truly stands out.
