it is a beautiful intake but its heavy as ****, my brother is probably going with a top mount and custom intake come summer time, his cobra blower that he was soposto get just fell through so now he needs to find another

Guess again, picking it up with the needed supplies for the intake 2 weeks from now. Hopefully I'll blow the tranny in a few months.

And I would overspin the blower.

Until this thing is together and running, I have no reason to invest in another pulley. If I want more low end boost at the cost of a reduced rev limit, I may just do that.

But running off the SHO crank, using the factory pulley on the GM Eaton M90, I will be spinning the blower nearly to it's max (14k something) at the SHO rev limit (7k)

yea if you get a faster spinning pully for that you will be choking for air at the higher rpms. this is why im a fan of centrifugal ones but cant wait to see your car when its done. should be amazing.

How about using a Whipple Charger instead? You have the benefits of the displacement blower without all the heat.
