I'm trying to get my friends car back together. We have the clutch installed, but because the throw out bearing was so badly damaged I do not know what the plastic clip looked like to hold the TB to the actuator fork. The new TB did not include one. I know this may be a long shot, but does anyone have a picture of one and can I just use a cotter pin? Thanx for any help!

The only purpose that pin serves is to keep the TOB aligned correctly during the install. Once installed, it does not do a darn thing.

I would not use a cotter pin. How about a one of those baby sized zip-ties?

Ill see if I can find you a pic though...
