Sorta cares
I was driving down a street accelerating through about 35-40. I reached cruising speed and let off the throttle... and it stuck at that position. I tried lifting the pedal up but of course it isn't connected in that direction, so I shifted into neutral. Coasted onto a side street with the engine stuck at 4K RPM. Opened the hood and manually unstuck the throttle body; took quite a bit of force.
It should probably be mentioned that I've done the throttle body coolant line bypass, so that's probably why it froze.
So just be aware that if you've done the bypass, there is a chance that your throttle will pull a Toyota and stick open. Fortunately, the solution is simply to shift into neutral or turn the engine off, then to manually rotate the throttle body 'til it unsticks.
So now you know.
