I was driving my sho last weekend having a bit of fun with it, and i got on it off the line a little to hard i would assume and some how the throttle cable broke (the plastic piece on the right side if you're standing by the drivers side) i was wondering if this plastic piece is an easy thing to fix/replace... or if i need a whole new cable... i was able to get it to work ok driving lightly home.... because the actual cable is still attached... i have no clue wtf the plastic rod sort of thing is for anyways?

anyone able to help me?

There are two cables. One for the go pedal does not have any plastic on the end of it. The cruise control cable has the plastic bullet shaped end.

Does that help you?
