Those little lights in the 95 eatc anyone know of a source? Other than a Ford dealership. Ford Garage Parts item is $9.98 ea. there are 5 in the printed circuit board that would equal a whopping $49.90 plus tax here at 7% = $53.39!!! Someone out there help me!!!

I would just buy another EATC off ebay (it does not need to be a Taurus one), swap out the burnt out bulbs, and then sell the EATC "as is"

5 lamps (total) for button illumination.

3 for the function buttons (think of one lamp centered between and behind each of
the six lower buttons)

1 each for the upper right (off/auto) and upper left (hot/cold/outside temp)

I read this somewhere (probably on this forum) Many of the "burned out" lamps can be revitalized by soaking in household vinegar to remove the corrosion which often forms on seldom used lamps. Might be worth a try, I've used it on a few with mixed results.

I can't imagine Radio Shack not being able to find something if you brought a spent one in

I have a old eatc out of my 91 I replaced with a newer hard button one, all the buttons are cracked, but all the bulbs in it worked, if they are the same as what you need I would just give it to you.

Ripping them from a spare is what I'd do too.

I think I have 10 "black" hard buttons on my shelf. Then a few varying ones, orange, gray, few lincoln ones, ehh.. :nut:

If they are the same bulbs as the ones inside of the clock then kragen will have them. I had to pull the bad bulb then compare its size to all the bulbs on the shelf at kragen. I found one that was the same size but had this huge plastic piece at the base... I carefully clipped the plastic off, carefully positioned the 2 little wires coming from the bulb & held it in place with some glue. It cost me like $3.00 to fix it.
