Thinking of buying a 2013 SHO...

Dealer has a 2013 with every option except PP for $39k (including incentives, before haggling). Figured I'd take a look, since that seems like a good price. Sticker is over $47k.

Questions:

Will putting the pedal to the floor put you back in you seat? I've been in a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 when the driver floored it, and it scared the sh** out of me. Loved that feeling. :0)

What are you guys averaging MPG wise? I assume you can get 22+ if you're not driving like a mad man.

My 2011 SHO has the PP, but I've never seen a performance comparison between cars with and without this option. With a Livernois Stage 2 tune-- highly recommended!-- the performance, especially when accelerating to pass at highway speeds, is explosive. While I have never driven the "super Jeep", I have driven SRT8 Chargers and Challengers and think my SHO can easily keep up.

I just completed a 3,200 miles highway trip and averaged 25.1 mpg. This was with a lot of 80mph cruising through New Mexico and Arizona.

If you want something bigger don't forget the Ecoboost Flex has the same engine....

I beat SRT8's all the time with mine.
