Well, lately I've been thinking of either adding N2O or supercharging my car. Of course, the maintenance is taken care of and I have a stronger clutch and other supporting mods, to include being able to tune myslef.... The thing I am wondering about is how reliable can I keep the car with 9PSI or even dropping it to 6 PSI?
I've seen what can happen first hand with a lot of boost(and no intercooler/failing water injection) with Pat's car, but I don't plan on putting on a 15 PSI pulley. At this altitude, I was thinking 9 PSI would be nice and possibly having a 6 PSI pulley on hand too. With that lower boost, I would think I can get away with out having an intercooler or the like, but go with water injection for times when I know I will be winding it out.
Anyway, I'd like to hear from people that have actually had experience with this first hand.
Thanks,
