I'd like to meet you guys and enjoy some good food and bench racing! artytime:

A couple weeks ago I scouted

And think this would be a good place to meet for attracting guys from our tri-state area.

I just checked and Saturday June 7, 2014 is open. Cost only $75 to reserve the super nice shelter near the sand volleyball court and it has plenty of shaded picnic tables, grills etc. Even swimming! :sun:
Could be rain or shine :rainshit:- the shelter is that nice.

If another weekend is better I'm flexible this far out. (my first choice - 5/24 is taken) Get your ride all polished on Memorial day weekend and start the 2014 cruising season out right.

I'd be happy to make the reservation - but would want to do this as soon as I can get a minimum of 8-10 of you guys to commit (think very this will be very easy).

This event could be kind of a *** luck - each brings own meat and drink (law says no alcohol, :busted and a dish to share.:fritos:

Last I checked, June is considered to be Summertime, not really Spring.

Not to mention, the date you've tentatively suggested (June 7th) is smack dab in the middle of the HUGE Ford Nationals Major Event in Carlisle, PA.

Lots of people, from several different forums, including myself, are already planning attending that.

Therefore, I've checked the interested tab, but let's pick a different date.

Do I have another date in mind? Nope.

But definitely not the weekend of June 5th, 6th, or 7th. :no no:

It's a possibility, but it's too far off to tell for me right now since it's dependent on my work load and travel schedule. I won't be able to know for sure until about a month or two ahead of time.

Other dates later in June were open last I checked at HLSP. Found also thought a metropark west of toledo (oak openings) that has a large picnic area I could grab early in the AM and hold onto for the day. This park has nice walking and bike trails. For $100 could reserve a shelter 6/21 is open. Google oak openings metropark for details.
