My car will not start, will crank...no ticks, doesn't sound like starter/solinoid. It wouldn't start 2 weeks ago, then after I sprayed some engine starter fluid in the MAF, if fired right up. I've tried this 3 times with no luck. Definately fuel pump right. I'm pretty sure I could hear it whinning...Any thoughts? Thanks

You can't just blame the fuel pump without further testing. Does it prime when you turn the ignition on? Is the relay clicking on? Pressure test it?

After another bout w/engine starter...I got it to fire. I'm gonna take her up to Autozone tomorrow and get the pressure checked and codes etc...

It cranks, just doesn't fire...

As SHO_Driver said, listen for the priming of the fuel pump before you crank the car. Just turn the key forward and you should hear it.

Keep us posted.
