I'm sure if you looked, you would indeed find it. As Dorothy was told in the Wizard of Oz: "Follow the upper radiator hose".

If you follow the upper radiator hose...

At the engine end of the upper radiator hose, there is an aluminum tube which is the thermostat housing. The thermostat is at the ******/block end of this aluminum thermostat housing. To access the T-stat, drain about a gallon of coolant, remove the upper air cleaner lid and intake hose (for clearance), remove the upper radiator hose from the aluminum thermostat housing and carefully remove the two (top and bottom) 10mm nuts from the studs that secure the T-stat housing to the coolant manifold on the block. You must reuse the rubber seal at the outer perimeter of the T-stat if the new one does not come with one. Do not use any sealant on the thermostat housing ****** as it will reduce the sealing pressre on the rubber seal. Carefully snug the nuts when installing the T-stat housing. Replace other parts in the inverse order.
