i thought the OEM thermostat was a 180F but my new one i got is an after market and its a 195F thermostat. was the original one a 180 ?

Some say that the MTX's are 180 but I have pulled out the OEM one in my car and it was a 195 like it got replaced with. Don't worry about it.

Al of the V6 SHOs OEM thermostats were 88C (~192F). You got the correct temperature to match the OEM thermostat.
