160 degree thermostat?

I have to replace the thermostat on my 93 mtx. What’s the opinion on 160 degree? If it’s cool do you know part # cuz the local parts store don’t list one. I think 180 is the coldest.

Unless your engine is built upon built and tuned then stick with the stock thermostat. My 95 is tuned, high compression and stroked with all kinds of modifications and I'm only using a 180 stat in it. Using the wrong thermostat can cause all kinds of drivability issues and your gas mileage will probably plummet.
