Hey everyone. I was changing the thermostat and one of the studs snapped that holds the hose on. So, im gonna just change the whole Housing right out since i cant get the stud out. Im wondering if theres a gasket behind the Housing or it bolts right up?

Yes, there is a gasket.

You'll need to take the outlet assembly off BOTH heads (and the crossover tube) in order to replace it. That short piece of interconnecting hose doesn't make it easy to do. Make every attempt p[ossible to get the old stud out if there is any to get a grip on or to get a Bolt-Out onto. If it's flush you're left with trying to drill it and use an Easyout.

Make sure you get gaskets for both sides along witht he O ring for the cross-over.

I had the same problem a couple of years ago. I was able to get a replacement outlet with gasket from a SHOTimes mailing list member. Replacement was pretty tight.
