I assume what I am working on is the thermostat housing. At any rate I can't get it off. Whats the trick to it?

I am talking about the metal tube that the upper radiator hose connects too. I drained the radiator and will be hopefully replaceing it, the fluid, upper and lower hose, clamps, and thermostat.

However this tube has me stumped. I got the two nuts off fine (I unhooked and moved more wires) now it will wiggle around but not come off...? :bonk:

Once I get the cooling system put back in I can at least start driving it again. Then start figuring out what I want to do next...some AL sub frame bushing next to me on the floor and I want SFCs.

You have to move the clamp off the line that is above it. I belive it is a coolant line. You cant remove the housing without removing the clamp. You dont need to remove the hose itself though. I went through the same thing last week
