Well ever since I bought this SHO, it's been very coolant happy. I NEVER find coolant under the car when it's parked overnight, at work... nowhere. Yet, every other time or so when I drive the car, the low coolant light either pops on when I start the car, or pops on while I'm driving. Once it turns on, it stays on. My guess is that I have a cracked overflow tank (so it might spill out when I either brake hard or accelerate hard... that would explain why I never find any under the car), and the low coolant sensor is bad as well, because it comes on when it is full.

I have searched high and low for a new overflow tank to see if that will solve my problem, but I can't find one. Tried searching online, through Ford, local junkyards, and nothing. Where can I get a new one? Or does anyone have any idea what the issue might be if my guess isn't right? I'm sick of having to refill it every week!

A good used one is as close as you'll come to a new one. Also, as far as the sensor, pull it out and sand the contacts on the end, that will be as good as new.

You may want to inspect the area under the coolant distribution manifold for leaks. I had similar symptoms until the leak in the rubber coupling became large enough to leave a trail. Check the image in the related topic here.
